Good example of a Lucas rotor ending it’s own life. How does this happen? The center starts to loosen up over time, the outer housing cracks and the whole thing comes apart. If your rotor is loose on it’s center, replace it. This engine will need a total rebuild just to remove the metal bits that got everywhere.

How to know when your sprockets are worn out? This is a good example of waiting too long. This one was so bad the chain was skipping over the little nubs that used to be teeth. This could have resulted in a chain wrapped up in the rear wheel. Worn sprocket 2
